Time to break out the bright colors and floral prints because the 1st day of Spring is this weekend! Yay! (Don't mind the forecast of snow. We'll remain positive.) Spring is often seen as a fresh start...the grass and leaves are filling in; the flowers are growing. Why not do the same? Detox your life and let go of the things and/or people that are no longer serving its purpose.
Here are a few ways to get your ass (oops, I meant FAB) in shape.
1. Clean your space
Your house, your car, your desk, etc...de-clutter. If you don't wear it, donate it. If you don't use it (or it's past its lifespan) get rid of it. (This goes for bath and beauty products as well). Your surroundings has an effect on your mindset so it should be light, clean and clutter free. Try a little redecorating for a fresh feel.
2. Clean your mind
The days are not promised to anyone so take a moment to set or reassess your goals. Start doing things you've always wanted to do. Travel, meet new people, learn new things. "If you're not living, you're just waiting to die" (I don't know who said it, but I like it.)
3. Clean your body
The weather is warming up and it'll be time to peel away those layers. Maybe you still have some leftover holiday pounds to peel away as well. I'm not talking about any quick fix "diet", but make small, realistic lifestyle changes. Reduce overall body fat % by incorporating long walks (3 miles) 3-4 days a week. Or try HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) 3-4 days a week. Increase frequency of eating clean, healthy meals, drinking water, and eating fruit & veggies. Start a regimen that will not only get you that bawdy, but will improve your overall health. Your body is a temple and what you eat in private you'll see in public!
4. Clean your purse
Well clean the junk at least. It's income tax season so everybody is ballin' out. Treat yourself however make sure your credit and finances are in order. Never rely on one source of income so think of a side hustle. Thou shall collect them checks!
5. Clean your friend list
At one point or another, we have all been in a relationship that we know deep down is not healthy for us. Whether it’s a friendship, a romantic relationship, or the relationship we have with ourselves, it’s not uncommon to find yourself nurturing relationships that bring more harm than good. If you have to force it, leave it!
What are some things you'll be doing this Spring?
Woooosssaaahhh! This just gave me LIFE! Thanks FabYouLife!
